January Les Misérables #pitchfever fundraiser

Our next screening date is the 24th January when we will be supporting Balerno High School and feeder schools screen the much loved musical Les Misérables – this is a fundraiser for the #pitchfever 2G project to raise funds for a new 2G pitch at the High School. This screening will include a performance from the pupils of Balerno High School who are preparing for their school show Les Misérables.

Back to the film! Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption—a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.

For those of you new to BVS – we are a community cinema – tickets are free to attend and we are funded by donations. Please reserve your ticket via the button above. Doors open 30 minutes in advance.

Les Misérables coming in September

Our next screening date is the weekend of Friday/Saturday 6th and 7th of September with two screenings of much loved musical Les Misérables. And we are encouraging our audience to revise the lyrics as the Friday night screening will be a singalong so come prepared

You can reserve your ticket below and we’ll also have some tickets available for Saturday at the Mill Cafe and Post Office soon. We will update this page when they are available. Online tickets can be reserved now via the buttons below.

The Friday screening is a singalong! And the funds raised will support a fellow Balerno villager Julia Sproul, in her efforts to raise funds for SANDS Lothians – a charity that supports parents who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or death of a baby soon after birth.
