About us

Balerno Village Screen is a community cinema, in South West Edinburgh, offering free cinema admission. We are funded by donations.

We were setup in December 2012 and aim to show films to the village of Balerno using a public video screening licence (PVSL).We are a non-profit making organisation run by volunteers. We show films monthly and it is our intention to screen a children’s matinee, an early evening film and a later evening film.

This film was shot in March 2013 at our Skyfall screening and provides a background to who we are and what we are hoping to achieve.

For more information about upcoming films, please visit our Screening Calendar.
