Janapar, Life of Pi, The Illusionist

Coming in June

On Saturday the 15th of June we will be bringing you The Illusionist and Life of Pi. Then on Sunday the  23rd of June we will be screening Janapar – with a Q&A with documentary film maker Tom Allen. Tickets for all screenings are available   

Saturday 15 June:

The Illusionist Cert PG – screening at 4.30pm finishes 5.45pm…… the Illusionist is inspired by Jacques Tati and set in Edinburgh. Following a request from a regular audience member who used to work in the Cameo cinema. Life of Pi Cert PG – screening at 7.30pm finishes 9.40pm… A young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. Sunday 23rd June

Janapar Cert 15 –  screening at 7.30pm – 9pm  Cert15 including a Q&A with documentary maker Tom Allen……This amazing true story follows Tom on his 13,000 mile trip in which he meets and falls in love with a beautiful Armenian-Iranian girl.  He persuades her to join him on his cycle marathon and Janapar – the Armenian word for “journey” – is a reminder of how a bicycle can be a means of escape.  Janapar is return ticket only but please follow the reserve link to register in case we have any ticket returns. Eventbrite - Janapar 7.30pm plus Q&A about the trip with Tom Allen

Tickets will also be made available for pick up in the Mill Cafe and from Balerno Post Office on Tuesday 21st May.

We will break for the summer months of July and August and be back for the Autumn.
