This amazing true story follows Tom Allen on his 13,000 mile trip in which he meets and falls in love with a beautiful Armenian-Iranian girl. He persuades her to join him on his cycle marathon and Janapar – the Armenian word for “journey” – is a reminder of how a bicycle can be a means of escape.
It’s a combination of amazing adventure and inspiring love story. The film was premiered at the Raindance Festival in London and is now showing at venues around the UK. And in this Balerno Village Screen special screening you will get the chance to meet the bicycle man himself Tom Allen in a question and answer session that follows the film.
A fantastic Sunday evening viewing right on your doorstep.
